Thrasher Mag 1982- now available online

I subscribed to Thrasher from 1981 to about 1984 ,so finding this link and re-reading all these epic issues of Thrasher was a walk down memory lane for me..
Of course todays version of Thrasher sucks in comparison and is nothing more than a shoe catalog.
Anyway,check the link for a glimpse of what the old Thrasher was...I'd say modern day Juice is a good description of what Thrasher mag was in 1982..

Bushy Park Skatepark-Dublin Ireland

My buddy Gav sent me this footage of him skating in his local park in Dublin Ireland.
I went there last summer but unfortunately it pissed rained the day Gav and I hit this park..
I walked around and checked it out,hoping it would dry, but never actually skated it.Its a great little park with endless lines..
Maybe next time.

St Valentines Day Massacre @ Cocoa Beach Skatepark.

Deep-end skate sesh:

We had a good turnout last night at Cocoa Beach Skatepark.
Pj,Brian,Rich,Wade,Roland the Great,and myself..
Buck Smith was spectating,hooting an hollering and generally
dishing out tips and inspiration.
He got there hours before us and skated his ass off alone,so he didnt skate with us.
There was another event going on in the shallow end ,I dont know what exactly..
Something to do with a girls Surf Competition.But one benefit of this was that DJ Longnecker
was there playing some sick sounds ,supposedly for the Surf crowd,but I have a feeling he was catering more to the old school crew in the Deep end.
Dead Kennnedys,Exploited,Sex Pistols,The Cramps,Pennywise etc...
Highlights included: Rich's 3 in a row eggplants,Rolands sick fs smithgrinds and stylish handplants and Wades fs handplants .
Overall it was a good night.We should do this more often guys.
